Learning Support Assistant – Full Time (Stoke-on-Trent) 

Are you passionate about helping children succeed in the classroom?
We are seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work full time in a welcoming and inclusive school in Stoke-on-Trent.


About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students to help create an engaging, positive and supportive learning environment. You will assist pupils who need additional support, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

This is a full-time, school-based role offering an excellent opportunity to build experience within education.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils in lessons on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering learning activities
  • Help create a positive, inclusive and safe classroom environment
  • Encourage student confidence, independence and engagement
  • Provide behaviour and emotional support where needed
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and agency representatives

  • Experience working with children or young people (school experience preferred)
  • A positive, patient and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable and committed to supporting student development
  • Ability to follow school policies and safeguarding procedures

Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
