Zest Education is seeking dedicated individuals to join a Good school in Handsworth as part-time or full-time Learning Support Assistants. This inclusive school provides a nurturing environment for students with a wide range of learning difficulties.

Responsibilities of the SEND Teaching Assistant :

– Providing personalized 1:1 support to students with learning challenges, ensuring their unique needs are addressed effectively.
– Collaborating with the class teacher to implement tailored learning activities and interventions that cater to students’ individual requirements for academic progress.
– Fostering a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported.
– Working closely with fellow staff members and external specialists to create and execute personalized education plans (IEPs) and effective behavior management strategies.
– Encouraging students’ independence and social skills development, empowering them to achieve their full potential.

This fulfilling role will commence in September and offers a long-term opportunity to positively impact students’ educational journey.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
