Learning Support Assistant

Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Autism and associated learning needs? We are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our special educational needs school in Tamworth.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support, guidance, and friendship to our students aged 3-18. Working in a dynamic and supportive environment, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students who have persistent differences with social interaction, social communication, and understanding emotions.

This full-time position is set to begin in September 2024 and offers a long-term commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of our students. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 to 15:30, allowing you to engage with students throughout the school day.

While prior experience working in a school environment is desirable, we welcome applications from Teaching Assistants, support workers, and individuals who have experience working with adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Your role may involve working with students across different classes and key stages, so adaptability and a genuine interest in supporting diverse learning needs are essential.

Join our dedicated staff team, where you will have the opportunity to implement our exciting curriculum and contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all. If you are enthusiastic, compassionate, and committed to making a difference, we invite you to apply for this rewarding position as a Learning Support Assistant at our special educational needs school in Tamworth.
