Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? Zest Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a special educational needs school in Rugby, starting in October 2024 on a long-term basis.

Working Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 15:30, you will be an integral part of a school that caters to students aged 6-15 with Autism (ASC). As an ideal candidate, you will have previous experience working with individuals with SEND and possess confidence in behaviour management techniques.

The school is committed to fostering student development and academic success. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to deliver lessons and provide support to students individually or in small groups. Flexibility is key to adapt to the diverse needs of the students effectively.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
