Are you a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant with a passion for working in a Special Educational Needs (SEND) school? Zest Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join a reputable SEND school located in Lichfield.

 

 Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

School: Special Educational Needs School

Location: Lichfield

Employment Type: Full-time, September 2024 start

 Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 15:30

 

 About the School:

The school caters for students aged 5-18 with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). The school provide a supportive and inclusive environment to ensure the best possible education and care for the students.

Role Description:

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers with material preparation for lessons. You will also be responsible for creating eye-catching displays that engage and inspire our students. Additionally, you will provide direct 1:1 or small group support, ensuring each student receives the attention they need to thrive academically and emotionally.

 

Requirements:

– Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification

– Previous experience working with children or adults with special educational needs, or within a care/support work setting

– Positive role model character

– Patience, commitment, and the ability to create a safe and welcoming environment
