Lower KS2 Teacher

Job Description

We are looking for someone passionate about KS2 so listen up!

Here at Zest, we proud to be working alongside a fantastic primary school in Alum Rock who are looking for a lower KS2 teacher to work on a part time basis. The role is to start in October 2024 and will continue for a minimum of 2 terms with a possible extension for the right teacher.

The happy and welcoming schools offers a vibrant and engaging curriculum that is accessible for all.  The school has positive and honest working partnerships with all parents and careers along with being part of a successful multi-academy trust.

What the role will involve:

  • Half a day PPA time cover.
  • Planning and resourcing for your own engaging lessons.
  • Working in an inspiring and exciting environment.
  • Working collaboratively with other members of staff as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Employing a range of suitable learning and teaching strategies and styles to ensure effective learning of all pupils.

The pay for this role will range from £130 to £212 a day dependent on references.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
