LSA – Coventry

A warm and inclusive primary school in Coventry is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support pupils with additional needs across the school. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, nurturing and confident working with children who require tailored support. You’ll be helping pupils access learning, regulating emotions, and building confidence through both 1:1 and small‑group work, while contributing to a positive and supportive classroom environment.

Requirements

• UK classroom experience is essential
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND
• Confident working 1:1 and in small groups
• Calm, patient and positive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow teacher direction and use initiative
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

Day‑to‑day duties

• Supporting pupils with SEND across the classroom
• Providing 1:1 and small‑group interventions
• Assisting with literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum tasks
• Helping pupils stay focused, regulated and engaged
• Using positive behaviour strategies
• Working closely with teachers and the SENDCo
• Contributing to a safe, inclusive learning environment
