We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join one of our partner schools on a long-term basis. This position offers the opportunity to support students as they develop essential mathematical skills and confidence, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will play a vital part in shaping students’ understanding and enjoyment of the subject. You will plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that support learners of all abilities and promote strong progress across the curriculum.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 depending on experience)
• Creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and confidence
• Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress in line with school policies
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a focused learning environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to enhance student outcomes
• Inspiring students to enjoy and succeed in Maths, fostering a positive attitude toward the subject

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about Maths and committed to supporting students’ academic success
• Qualified with QTS or ECT status
• Experienced in teaching Maths at secondary level
• Able to maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and classroom management
• Skilled at engaging, motivating, and inspiring students of all abilities
• A strong team player with excellent communication and organisational skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
