Zest Education are currently seeking a part-time (0.8) Maths teacher to join a secondary school in the King’s Norton area. This position includes planning and marking, as well as delivering engaging lessons to secondary school students.

The school is a fantastic learning environment that provides a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for both students and staff. It is also an easily accessible school, with public transport links nearby.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality Maths lessons to secondary school students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation.
  • Evaluate and assess student progress through assignments and tests.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their learning and development.
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development activities as required.

In order to be a successful candidate, you must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the subject of Maths and have experience teaching Maths at secondary level. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can be flexible to adapt to the changing needs of the school and students.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
