✏️ About the Role

Zest Education is delighted to be recruiting an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to support a range of dynamic and welcoming secondary schools in Selly Oak and the surrounding areas.

This role offers flexible temporary supply opportunities, ideal for teachers seeking full‑time or part‑time work, with roles available from April 2026.

✅ Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Delivering engaging and well‑structured Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 (KS5 where experience allows)
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting students to achieve their academic potential
  • Providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Maintaining strong classroom and behaviour management

🔍 What We’re Looking For:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification with QTS or QTLS
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
  • The ability to confidently teach KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Confidence in planning, marking, and delivering high‑quality lessons
