Maths Teacher – Walsall

Job Description

Are you a maths teacher looking for a new challenge? Do you thrive off making a difference to students?

A teaching opportunity in a secondary school in Walsall has become available, starting in October 2022, as maternity cover for one academic year. The school is continually improving to provide students with opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, attitudes and values to prepare them for life outside of school.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • A strong passion for the subject of Maths, able to teach KS3-KS4 curriculum, KS5 would be advantageous
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.
