Are you looking for a shorter commute and more time at home? We have a role for you! Zest Education are recruiting a Maths teacher for a high performing secondary school in the Telford area. The role is full time from November 2024 for at least one half term, this may be extended due to an ongoing absence.

The school is looking for someone to take on the full teaching role, planning and marking lessons, in class tests/exams. This also means the chosen candidate will be an integral part of the wider maths department liaising with other staff to ensure students are reaching their target and creating plans for those that are struggling.

The successful applicant will have:
  1. A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  2. A strong passion for the subject of Mathematics and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  3. A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  4. The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
