Multiple TA’s Needed!

Zest Education are working with a very popular special educational needs school situated in Cannock to recruit for multiple Teaching Assistants to work on a long-term basis – These roles are looking to begin ASAP.

This school caters for students from early years all the way through the Post 16 for those students with complex physical disabilities and medical needs. Due to the needs of the children, the ideal candidate will have previous experience working with SEND or within a care environment.

This school has been OFSTED outstanding for the last 6 inspections. The school are seeking individuals who will strive to maintain these excellent standards.

The successful candidate must be organised and versatile to engage with different learning needs. As well as being a proactive and engaging individual who has proven experience of having strong behaviour management.

The role:

• We are looking for staff who are good role models and have experience of working directly with children or young people with SEND
• You must be engaging, reliable and able to quickly build professional relationships
• You will be supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• You will be supporting the class teacher within the classroom – preparing learning resources, setting up the classroom and keeping it to a high standard

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
