Job Description

We are looking to recruit hard-working, enthusiastic, and confident individuals who are keen to work and who are looking to explore other schools within their local areas.

Zest Education has close working relationships with several special educational needs schools across Cannock where there is a high demand for Teaching Assistants.

We have a range of roles available including day-to-day cover, short-term and long-term placements. Whether you are looking for 1 day a week or 5 days a week – we have roles to suit you!

The role will require you to quickly build engaging relationships with small groups of children, and you will need to work closely as a team with the class teacher and other teaching assistants.

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Have experience supporting children or adults with special educational needs
  • Be resilient and confident with managing challenging behaviour
  • Be a proactive and engaging individual who has proven experience of having strong behaviour management skills and working across a range of age groups

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
