Nursery assistant – full time

Job Description

Zest Education are recruiting exclusively for private nursery in Edgbaston, Birmingham. We’re looking to appoint a nursery assistant to start as soon as possible to continue for a minimum of 12 months. The position will be working within the pre-school room and will be working shifts either from 8am-5pm or 9am – 6pm.

The successful candidates must:

  • Hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification (or above) in a relevant subject
  • Be confident working with children and recognise individual needs
  • Work as part of a well-established team
  • Be able to engage with and support a broad range of children
  • Be consistent in maintaining high standards
  • Be consistent in maintaining high standards across the nursery

  • Supporting the needs of individual children
  • Recognise and understand the importance of safeguarding children
  • Versatile to work with a broad range of children
  • Working within a fast paced and ever-changing environment
  • Providing children with a secure and supportive learning environment
