The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils with additional needs
  • Assist with learning activities and adapted curriculum tasks
  • Help maintain a positive, safe and nurturing classroom environment
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff
  • Encourage pupils’ independence, confidence and progress
  • Support emotional regulation and communication needs

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience beneficial)
  • A positive, patient and compassionate approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to adapt to different needs and learning styles
  • A willingness to learn and work as part of a team

Previous school experience is an advantage but not essential
