Zest is currently working alongside a primary school in the Erdington area who are looking for a PPA teacher to work 3 days each week. The school are looking for the successful candidate to start May 2024 and will continue on a long term basis for the right candidate.

The Ofsted rated ‘good’ school aim to create a positive and caring environment in which every child has the equal opportunity to realise their true potential. The team of fantastic staff work alongside each other to support all pupils with their academic, social, and emotional needs. The school also have a strong network for pupils with SEND, ensuring they are able to meet the needs of each pupil.

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Hold a valid QTS.
  • Be able to build professional relationships.
  • Be responsible for the learning and development of all pupils in the class ensuring equality of opportunity for all.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of staff as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Be comfortable working pupils of all ages.
  • Be a positive role model and demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values and behaviour which are expected by pupils.
  • Have a good knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum.

The pay for this role will start from £140 a day, dependent on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
