About the Role

A supportive and inclusive SEN school in Walsall is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping children with Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs, and SEMH.

You will be working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, helping to create a nurturing and positive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 or small-group basis
  • Assist with personalised learning activities and classroom tasks
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff
