Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time Teaching Assistant for a wonderful school in Harborne. This is a long term position which involves working one-on-one basis with a child in a Year 2 class starting in September 2024. The ideal candidate will possess a NVQ Level 3 qualification or above, demonstrating a solid educational background and previous experience in supporting children with behaviour issues and autism.

As a 1-1 TA you will play a vital role in helping pupils thrive academically and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include providing individualised support, supporting and maintaining a positive learning environment, and collaborating with teachers and parents to ensure the child’s success. The successful candidate should be proactive, engaging, and resilient, with a calm demeanour, approachable attitude, and strong work ethic.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
