Job Description

Zest Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant for a part-time position in Bournville. This highly rewarding position involves supporting a child in a KS2 class who has ADHD, providing 1-1 assistance during school hours from 9am to 1pm, Monday – Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
– Work closely with the child to help them navigate the classroom environment and complete tasks effectively.
– Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviours associated with ADHD.
– Collaborate with the class teacher to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
– Provide additional support in the school’s resource base as needed.

Requirements:
– NVQ Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance or equivalent.
– Proven experience working with children with ADHD or in a similar support role.
– Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
– Confidence in engaging with students both in and outside the classroom setting.
