Part-Time Teaching Assistant – Balsall Heath (September Start)
Mon–Wed | EYFS Support | Child with Additional Needs

Are you a dedicated and reliable Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding part-time role?

We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and vibrant primary school in the Balsall Heath area, hiring for a Part-Time Teaching Assistant to start in September 2025. This role involves working every Monday to Wednesday, supporting a child with additional needs within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

About the Role:

  • Supporting a child with additional needs on a 1:1 basis

  • Ensuring consistency and structure in their day-to-day experience

  • Collaborating closely with the class teacher and wider team to deliver a supportive learning environment

  • Promoting independence, inclusion, and engagement in classroom activities

What We’re Looking For:

  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach

  • A solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum

  • A team player who brings reliability and a strong work ethic to the classroom

  • Someone approachable, proactive, and committed to making a difference

  • Someone with previous experience of working with children with ADHD, Autism, non verbal children and global delay
