Part-time Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time Teacher to join a special educational needs school in Walsall. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students with special educational needs, starting in April 2024 and continuing for the remainder of the academic year.

The school itself caters for children from the age of 3-18 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and caters to variety of needs including autism, ADHD and learning difficulties.

 

 Key Requirements:

– Commitment to working 3 days a week, with flexibility to discuss scheduling during the interview process.

– Possession of an enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.

– Proficiency in the current British curriculum and experience working in SEND settings.

– Passion for nurturing children’s learning and development.

– Ability to deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet individual student needs.

– Uphold high behavioural and classroom standards.

– Monitor and communicate students’ progress effectively to relevant staff members.

– Adapt teaching methodologies to accommodate diverse learning styles.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
