Job Description

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs? Zest Education is currently looking for a dedicated part-time teaching assistant to join their team at a fantastic school in Bournville after the February half term.

In this role, you will be required to work closely with a child who has autism, ADHD, and behavioural issues on a one-to-one basis in the Y3 class. Your main responsibility will be to create a supportive and cohesive learning environment, ensuring that the child receives the individualised attention they need to thrive.

To excel in this position, we are seeking a friendly, reliable, and approachable individual who is resourceful and thrives as part of a team. Effective communication skills are essential, as you will be working closely with the relevant team and class teacher to ensure consistency and progress in the child’s development.

This is a long-term role, with a strong possibility of extending into the new academic year in September 2024. We are looking for applicants who hold a Level 3 qualification or above, demonstrating a solid understanding of the educational requirements of children with special needs.

Joining Zest Education means becoming part of a dedicated team committed to making a real difference in the lives of children. If you are passionate about special education and possess the skills and qualifications we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
