Zest Education is currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE teacher to provide cover for PE lessons at a primary school in Tamworth. This part-time role requires commitment for 2 days per week, teaching across both KS1 and KS2 levels.

Encouraging children to adopt healthy lifestyles is part of the schools ethos and values. Promoting physical and mental well-being is planned for across the curriculum, through daily teaching and the wider experiences offered at this primary school. Physical Education is taught at this school so that children have the opportunity to develop the tools and understanding required to make a positive impact on their own physical health and well-being. The P.E. curriculum is structured to provide a range of sports experiences during which every child participates to develop their skills and learning through competitive, team and individual sports. Children can aim to flourish at sports in which they have a particular interest or flair for. Children with additional needs are provided with appropriate support to enable them to take part and gain confidence in skills, understanding and motivation.

The successful candidate will deliver pre-planned PE lessons, showcasing their passion for sports and physical education.

To excel in this role, applicants must hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess recent experience in primary teaching that we can confidently reference. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in sports and fitness, inspiring young minds to lead active and healthy lifestyles.
