Female PE Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education are working closely with a secondary school in the Stafford area who are looking to recruit a qualified Female PE teacher to start with them in January 2025, for a minimum of one term.

The school have specified they require a female PE teacher due to supervision required within the changing rooms.

The schools ethos is to ensure high quality teaching and learning that helps students to develop into good citizens in the future. The School focuses not only focuses on achieving academically but also on teaching students to be confident, communicate effectively and be ambitious .The school’s vision is centred around equipping young individuals with the skills to succeed, regardless of their background or abilities. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of Physical Education (PE) for Key Stages 3 and 4, with familiarity in Key Stage 5 being advantageous.

The successful applicant will have:
  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for the subject of Physical Education and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  • A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to be involved with extracurricular PE clubs/activities
  • Rates of pay vary depending on experience.
