Full-Time PPA Class Teacher
Location: Primary School – Erdington
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time
Are you a flexible and enthusiastic teacher who thrives on variety and enjoys working across different year groups? Zest are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Erdington who is seeking a dedicated PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) Class Teacher to join the team from September 2025.
Full-time position covering classes across the school to release teachers for PPA time
Teaching across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 as needed
Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Working closely with class teachers and phase leaders to ensure continuity and progress
Playing an active role in the wider life of the school
A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Adaptability and confidence to teach across a range of year groups
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for teaching
A team player with a commitment to the school’s values and ethos
A supportive and friendly team environment
Well-resourced classrooms and planning support

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
