Zest Education, an award-winning education agency, is currently partnering with a reputable school in Sutton Coldfield to seek a dedicated PPA Cover Teacher. This part-time position is available until the end of the academic year and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the school community.
Located in the charming town of Sutton Coldfield, the school we are working with is renowned for its commitment to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for its students. Roles and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality PPA cover across various year groups within the school. Duties will include delivering engaging and differentiated lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and effectively managing student behaviour. The PPA Cover Teacher will work closely with the existing staff to ensure continuity in learning and uphold the school’s values and ethos.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
– Previous experience in delivering PPA cover or covering a range of subjects
– Strong behavior management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– A passion for education and a commitment to the holistic development of students

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
