PPA Cover Teacher – Part‑Time / Flexible

Zest Education is looking for a confident and adaptable Primary PPA Cover Teacher to support a welcoming primary school in West Bromwich area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and loves stepping into different classrooms across the school.

The Role at a Glance

  • Role: Part-Time PPA & Leadership Cover Teacher
  • Location: West Bromwich
  • Days: 2- 3 days per week (flexible for the right candidate)
  • Key Stages: KS1 & KS2
  • Pay: Competitive daily rate (via PAYE)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering engaging PPA cover lessons across KS1 and KS2
  • Providing leadership cover, supporting senior staff with release time
  • Maintaining consistency in learning, behaviour, and classroom expectations
  • Quickly adapting to different year groups and teaching styles
  • Supporting pupils’ progress and wellbeing in a positive, inclusive environment

About You

  •  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  •  Experience in primary education (KS1 and/or KS2)
  •  Strong classroom and behaviour management
  •  Flexible, reliable, and confident teaching across year groups
  •  A team player who contributes positively to school life
