PPA teacher

Job Description

Primary Teacher (PPA Cover – 0.6 Contract)
Location: Kings Heath (Primary School)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Until Easter 2026
Days: 3 days per week

Zest Education are working in partnership with a warm and welcoming primary school located in South Birmingham to recruit a dedicated teacher to cover PPA time across the school. This is a part-time role (0.6 contract), working three days per week, and is set to run until Easter 2026.

The school has a strong community ethos, with a focus on nurturing every child’s unique potential and promoting a love of learning through creativity, inclusion, and high expectations. Staff are committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team who are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives.

As the PPA cover teacher, you will work across different year groups, delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement. This role would suit a flexible, confident teacher who enjoys variety and is keen to make a positive impact without the demands of full-time class teaching.
