Zest is currently working with a school in Erdington to recruit an engaging teacher to join their team from October 2024 covering PPA for 3 days a week across the whole school. The role will continue until the end of the academic year with the potential to go permanent in the new academic year.

The three-form entry primary school is a sought-after school in the local area who offers a high quality education to all pupils catering for all needs. The school looking to create a warm and friendly atmosphere where all children are able to reach their full potential. The school is part of a local multi-academy trust where staff, governors, parents, and carers work together to provide the best for the children.

The school always looks to support all staff through training and continual professional development opportunities. Staff at the school also get access to secure onsite parking.

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Hold a valid QTS.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum and be comfortable teaching across these year groups.
  • Be passionate about teaching.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff as part of a strong team.
  • Continually deliver rich learning opportunities.
  • Be adaptable and creative with the support you give.

If appointed for this role you will also receive the support from an experienced teaching assistant.

The pay for this role will start from £140 a day dependent on experience and references. Both ECT’s and experienced teachers are highly advised to apply for this role.
