Zest Education is excited to be working with a wonderful school located in the heart of Burton on Trent, and we are currently seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis from as soon as possible until the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities:
As a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational journey of students within the school. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting the class teacher in creating a purposeful and stimulating learning environment.
2. Supporting students with varying needs and abilities, ensuring they receive tailored assistance.
3. Collaborating with the teaching staff to develop and implement effective lesson plans.
4. Encouraging and promoting a positive classroom culture where every student feels valued and supported.
5. Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help.
6. Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
1. Experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role within a primary school setting.
2. A passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on young learners.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
4. Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a team environment.
5. A patient and nurturing attitude towards children, creating a safe and inclusive learning space.
6. Relevant certifications or qualifications in education or child development are highly desired.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
