Job Description

Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to join a vibrant special educational needs school in Cannock. This immediate start position has the potential to become permanent by April 2025.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students aged 4 to 11 who have various communication and/or learning difficulties, along with related anxieties and behaviours. The school’s carefully planned curriculum and exceptional pastoral support aim to create an environment where every student can thrive, achieve, and improve their life chances.

As an SEN Teacher at this school, you will have the chance to take a creative and tailored approach to teaching, ensuring that each student’s educational needs are met. Building strong relationships with students is key to encouraging their interest and active participation in their education. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating and purposeful learning environment both inside and outside the classroom setting.

To be successful in this role, you must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a proven background in teaching a variety of subjects at a good or outstanding level. Additionally, a solid understanding of current educational issues as they relate to teaching practices, processes, and curriculum delivery is essential.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
