As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with students, supporting their individual needs and fostering a positive learning environment. Your responsibilities may include assisting with classroom management, preparing teaching materials, providing one-on-one support to students who require extra help, and helping to assess and record students’ progress.

The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for education and the ability to connect with young learners are essential. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work collaboratively with both students and colleagues. Previous experience working with primary school children and knowledge of the national curriculum would be advantageous.
