Job Description

Zest Education, seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher to join a special educational needs school in Lichfield. This full-time position is set to commence in September 2024.

As a Secondary Teacher at this school catering to KS2 and KS3 students facing educational challenges, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and effective lessons tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. Working closely with a supportive leadership team and committed staff, you will create a positive learning environment that fosters academic growth and personal development.

The ideal candidate will hold a QTS or QTLS qualification, demonstrating a genuine passion for education and exceptional communication skills. We are looking for individuals who are authentic, energetic, flexible, sensitive, and resilient, with a sense of fun that adds joy to the learning experience.

Key responsibilities include lesson planning, delivery, student assessment, and providing timely feedback to students and parents. Candidates must possess a valid DBS on the update service, or be willing to undergo the application process. Additionally, references covering the last 2 years will be required to ensure the safety and well-being of the students.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
