We have a fantastic opportunity for a secondary teacher in a unique special educational needs school for pupils with social, emotional, behavioural and mental health needs in Rugeley.
This is a small special school, currently catering for pupils from KS3 to KS4 and offering a curriculum based on a child’s right to ‘Learn, Grow and Thrive’ . This school is passionate that all young people deserve to achieve and succeed and will do so, with the right guidance, academic and pastoral support. This position will begin in September 2025 and be ongoing for the full academic year.
The ideal candidate will have successful experience of teaching within a secondary environment. Due to the small size of this school, teachers are often required to teach an additional lesson’s on occasion. As the school caters for young people with a wide range of needs, candidates will need to be flexible in the delivery of the curriculum and be experienced in planning for educational needs across the full ability range.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
