Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD, SEMH, and communication needs.
  • Assist teachers with personalised learning plans and adapted resources.
  • Support emotional regulation, communication development, and social skills.
  • Contribute to creating a calm, positive, and structured learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff.
  • Promote independence, confidence, and wellbeing in every pupil.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working in an SEN school or specialist setting.
  • Strong communication, empathy, and behaviour‑support skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learner needs.
  • Enthusiasm, patience, and resilience.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to inclusive education.
  • An up‑to‑date Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
