Zest Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive primary school located in Burntwood.
This role is set to begin in September and offers a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
The position is full-time, running from 9:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will be working within one of three dedicated rooms in a specialised provision known as The Nest, which is designed to support children with a range of additional needs in a calm and structured environment. You will play a key role in helping pupils access learning and build confidence through consistent support and positive reinforcement.
To be considered for this role, you should hold an NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification (or equivalent) and possess a good standard of English and Maths. While previous experience supporting children with ASC, SEMH, or communication and interaction needs would be advantageous, it is not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided by the school.

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
