Job Description

Full-Time Teaching Assistant – SEND School (Autism & ADHD) – Cannock

Location: Cannock
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (Part-time considered)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time (2–3 days also considered for the right candidate)

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming SEND school in Cannock. This role involves working closely with children who have Autism and ADHD, supporting them on a 1:1 basis and in small group settings.

About the Role:

  • Supporting students with Autism and ADHD in their day-to-day learning and development
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to provide tailored support
  • Assisting the class teacher in managing behaviour and creating a positive learning environment
  • Helping students to engage with their education and reach their full potential

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with SEND, particularly Autism and ADHD
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A flexible and proactive attitude

Hours & Flexibility:

  • Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
  • Part-time applicants (2–3 days per week) are also encouraged to apply
