SEND Teacher

Job Description

Are you an experienced teacher seeking a better work-life balance? Look no further. Zest Education invites applications for an exciting opportunity in the Warwick area. This specialist school is on the lookout for a compassionate teacher to join their supportive and committed team. This full-time role starts in January 2024 and will be ongoing until the end of the academic year.

This specially designed school serves over 90 children, aged 9 to 19 years old, with various learning facilities to support every child’s learning needs. It caters to children and young individuals who have Social, Emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and/or an autistic spectrum condition.

Your Role:

  • You’ll be using strategies that are proactive and reactive and that will promote resilience for young people.
  • Safety will be your priority, ensuring the well-being of all pupils and staff, and fostering a culture of transparency and ethical conduct.
  • As a community leader, you’ll drive inclusivity, advocating for young individuals who are unable to access conventional education due to medical, Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and various neuro-diverse conditions.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
