Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teacher to join a special educational needs school in Walsall. This long-term position will commence in September 2024 and extend throughout the academic year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and supporting children aged 7-14 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). Previous experience working with SEMH students is crucial, as you will play a key role in helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve success.

As a SEND Teacher, your responsibilities will include planning and delivering lessons for small groups and individuals. We are looking for a positive and creative individual with a flexible teaching approach, exceptional enthusiasm, and a passion for making a positive impact on student wellbeing and progress.

The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining a positive and supportive approach to managing student behaviour. A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) is a requirement for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
