About the Role

Zest Education is recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coaches to work across a range of secondary schools in Solihull and the surrounding areas, with opportunities available immediately.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about sport, physical activity, and supporting young people, with both short‑term and ongoing supply opportunities available. Many of our partner schools have an immediate need for reliable, energetic, and confident Sports Coaches.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging PE lessons and sports sessions across KS3 and KS4
• Ensure sessions are inclusive, safe, and enjoyable for all students
• Foster a positive learning environment and build strong relationships with pupils and staff
• Support PE curriculum delivery, assessment, and extracurricular activities
• Manage and motivate groups of students, encouraging teamwork and positive behaviour
• Create a safe and supportive environment where all pupils can thrive

What We’re Looking For

• Background in Sports Coaching, PE teaching, or a related discipline
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant coaching qualification (Level 2 preferred)
• Experience working with young people in an educational or sports setting
• An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
• Reliable, confident, and adaptable across different school settings
