Supply Teacher

Zest Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a variety of welcoming schools throughout Staffordshire on a day-to-day basis.

About the Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across a range of year groups, ensuring learning continues in the absence of the class teacher. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a variety of primary schools, building your experience and developing new professional relationships.

Roles can range from single-day bookings to short-term placements, giving you the flexibility to choose assignments that suit your availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
  • Follow school policies and procedures.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Adapt quickly to different school settings and year groups.
  • Ensure pupils remain on task and engaged in learning.
  • Provide feedback to schools following each assignment.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have recent experience teaching within a UK primary school.
  • Be confident teaching across a range of year groups.
  • Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Be flexible, reliable, and professional.
  • Be able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Have a passion for delivering high-quality education.
