Job Description

Zest Education is seeking a qualified Teacher to join a special needs school in Shenstone starting in October 2024.

As a Teacher at this school, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality education to a diverse group of students, ensuring that each child reaches their full potential. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The school itself caters for students from the age of 4-16 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH).

 

 Key Responsibilities:

– Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.

– Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages learning and curiosity.

– Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.

– Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment.

– Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider community to enhance the educational experience for all students.

 

 Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

– Experience working with special educational needs.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
