Teacher

Job Description

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Autism (ASC)? We are currently seeking a talented individual to join a special educational needs school in Uttoxeter  starting in after October half term.

As a Teacher at this school, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for children aged 7-16 with Autism. Working alongside a supportive leadership team and within a warm, welcoming community, you will have the opportunity to nurture both students and yourself in a collaborative setting.

Your responsibilities will include taking a creative approach to teaching in order to meet the specific educational needs of each child, while ensuring the successful delivery of the school curriculum to maximize student achievement and development. Given the unique challenges that may arise due to the varying needs of our pupils, we are looking for candidates with prior experience in working with children with complex additional needs.

In this role, you will have the chance to implement engaging teaching strategies, collaborate with support staff to provide individualised support to each pupil, and maintain a positive learning environment. Regular communication with Senior Leadership Team, parents, and carers will also be essential to ensure the holistic development of our students.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience teaching in an SEN school or extensive experience working with pupils with complex additional needs, possess strong planning skills to deliver fun and engaging sessions, and hold a valid UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) certification.

If you are passionate about inclusive education and ready to embark on a rewarding journey of shaping young minds, we encourage you to apply for this position.
