Job Description

Job Title: Special Education Needs Teacher
Location: Coventry
Salary: Competitive
Full-time role: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

Zest Education is currently recruiting for a Special Education Needs Teacher to join a dedicated team at a school in Coventry. This full-time role, starting in April 2025, offers a unique opportunity to work with students aged 5-18 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH).

Responsibilities:
– Help students build self-confidence, develop initiative, and achieve independence
– Implement a creative and innovative approach to teaching
– Understand and cater to the individual needs of students with SEMH
– Foster a sense of responsibility and respect for rights in students
– Contribute to the school’s exciting curriculum and supportive work environment
– Maintain flexibility, reliability, and high motivation in your work

Requirements:
– Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Have a proven background in teaching various subjects at a good or outstanding level
– Strong understanding of special educational needs
– Excellent communication skills
– Knowledge of current educational issues and practices
– Commitment to professional growth and development
