Zest Education is seeking a dynamic Teacher to join a special educational needs school in Lichfield that caters to students aged 6-18 with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH).

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for our students. Collaborating closely with students, teachers, and support staff, you will deliver one-on-one and small group instruction tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students. Your expertise and commitment will be instrumental in helping our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide individualised instruction to students with SEN
– Plan and teach lessons, working with small groups and individual students.
– Implement strong behaviour management strategies to support student development

Requirements:
– Hold a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
– Demonstrated experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a SEN school or a resource base
– Strong behaviour management skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
