Zest Education are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Teacher of Geography to join an excellent secondary school in the Kings Norton area. This full-time role involves teaching responsibilities up to Key Stage 5, requiring the planning and marking of lessons. The successful candidate will have a passion for Geography and a commitment to nurturing students’ understanding of the subject. The school offers a supportive environment for professional development and values high-quality teaching practices. The role is due to commence in September 2025 and will run for a minimum of one term.
The school is also based in an ideal location, with easily accessible public transport links and onsite parking available.
Successful candidates will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong enthusiasm for the subject of Geography and the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons
- Excellent knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum (KS5 is not essential but is desirable)
- A team ethos and the ability to build strong and professional relationships with both colleagues and pupils
- Experience in classroom and behaviour management
