Teacher of MFL – French and Spanish

Job Description

Zest Education are seeking a passionate MFL Teacher, who is both French and Spanish speaking, to join a secondary school in the Solihull area. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in both languages. This is a full time role due to commence in January 2025. The role is due to run for the rest of the academic year.

Responsibilities:

– Planning and delivering MFL lessons in French and Spanish to students across KS3 and KS4
– Marking and providing feedback on student work to support their progress
– Creating a positive learning environment that nurtures students’ language skills and cultural understanding
– Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the MFL curriculum meets the needs of all students
– Upholding the school’s high standards of teaching and learning

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
– Specialism in both French and Spanish
– Experience teaching MFL to students across KS3 and KS4
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire student learning
– Commitment to upholding high standards of education and fostering a positive learning environment

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
