Teacher – Telford

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join a special educational needs school in Telford. This full-time position is set to commence in May 2024 and will continue on a long-term basis for the remainder of the academic year. As a teacher at this school, you will be expected to work Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

The school specialises in catering to students aged 5-19 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, as well as other learning requirements. The school take pride in providing outstanding educational opportunities to all the students to ensure they reach their full potential. As such, we are looking for exceptional educators who are creative, imaginative, and capable of designing highly effective learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of the students.

The successful candidate must possess excellent classroom management skills, maintain high expectations for all pupils, and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum and new assessment frameworks. Ideally, you should have previous experience working in an SEN setting or supporting individuals with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, imaginative, and forward-thinking individual who is not only a passionate teacher but also an excellent communicator. You should feel as comfortable engaging with students and young people as you are contributing to the school’s overall vision and direction.
