Job Description

Are you a dedicated and passionate teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs?

Zest Education is currently seeking a qualified teacher with a PGCE, QTS or recognised equivalent to join a vibrant special educational needs school located in Walsall.

This full-time role, commencing in September 2024, offers a unique opportunity to work with students aged 4-17 with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH).

The school prides itself on being a happy, inclusive, and welcoming environment that is committed to providing excellence in education. With an Ofsted rating of ‘Good’, you will be part of a supportive team that upholds the positive ethos and core values of the school both inside and outside the classroom.

As a teacher at this school, your responsibilities will include planning, delivering, and teaching individual pupils or small groups in line with the school’s curriculum framework and policies. You will also be expected to monitor, record, and report on pupil progress to ensure each student reaches their full potential.

We are looking for someone who possesses a natural ability to solve problems and effectively manage and modify the behaviour of children. The ideal candidate will be organized, flexible, resilient, physically fit, and unflappable in challenging situations. A good, down-to-earth sense of humour is also highly valued as it contributes to creating a positive learning environment for both students and colleagues.

If you are ready to embark on a rewarding teaching journey in a supportive and dynamic special needs school, apply now to join our team at Zest Education. Your dedication and passion will help shape the future of our students and make a lasting impact on their lives.
